March 1-3, 2005
Moscone Center West, San Francisco
Intel is opening up new worlds of technology at Intel Developer Forum (IDF), where attendees will find out what the impact will be on their projects and careers. IDF offers a fully immersive conference experience by bringing together technology leaders and experts for a program built upon training, networking and vision.

Training: The 14 tracks and 126 technical sessions and hands-on labs enable attendees to be immersed on new technologies involving:

Digital home
Mobile internet clients
Communications infrastructure
Advanced R&D

IDF offers valuable opportunities to speak one-to-one with Intel managers and engineers whose work will impact future technology directions. Attendees will meet with industry peers at a variety of planned and informal events to exchange views and explore potential collaborations, such as the “birds-of-a-feather” lunch sessions, where they will be able to network with technology experts.

Keynotes by senior Intel executives will offer insight about new and emerging Intel technologies, along with Intel’s vision for future platforms.
Technology Showcase will feature the latest Intel technology demonstrations as well as representatives from more than 300 other companies. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore how these solutions and ideas could help them save time, effort and expense in bringing new products to market.
The CTO panel on Thursday will discuss what digital transformation means to the future of innovation in the enterprise. Paul Saffo, director of the Institute of the Future, will moderate. Panelists are Intel’s Pat Gelsinger, Microsoft Senior Vice President and CTO Craig Mundie, Nokia Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer Tero Ojanperä and LG Electronics President and Chief Technology Advisor Woo Paik.
