Evence-Charles Coppee joins Infogrames

Lyon, France, September 14, 2005 – Infogrames Entertainment has announced that Evence-Charles Coppée was joining the Group as Directeur Général Délégué – Deputy Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Coppée will oversee the operations of the holding entity and the Group’s corporate management, including its finance, treasury, legal and human resources divisions. His principal assignment will consist in helping streamline Group’s structure and make it more efficient. He will be in charge of implementing management strategies, organization and methods necessary to complete Infogrames’ turnaround and ensure its continued profitability.

Commenting on the arrival of Mr. Coppée, Bruno Bonnell stated: “Infogrames is pleased to welcome Evence-Charles Coppée on board. His addition to the staff represents a significant step in our Group’s progress. In his previous positions, he has successfully used a blend of diligence and skills. At a time when we have consolidated our base, he will undoubtedly contribute to our further expansion.”

For his part, Evence-Charles Coppée made the following statement: “The potential for growth in the interactive entertainment and video games sector remains considerable. Infogrames has unique assets and I will use all of my experience to enable it to gain the resources needed for its further expansion.”

Evence-Charles Coppée joins Infogrames Entertainment after serving for nine years as Co-Chief Executive and Co-Managing Director of the daily “Libération”. He used his expertise, analytical prowess and management skills to transform the newspaper company by modifying its capital structure and consolidating its financial base.

Before joining Libération, Mr. Coppée worked for almost ten years in key operational jobs with the Chargeurs/Pathé group of companies, moving among a wide range of industries that included textiles, transportation, advertising and film. While with that group, he worked in a highly international environment and successfully implemented transformation strategies.

Evence-Charles Coppée, 52, is a native of Belgium. He started his career with the Boston Consulting Group, where he stayed for seven years; he holds a masters’ degree in applied economics from the University of Leuven.
