Independent Research and Consulting Firm Recognizes Oracle® Profitability Management Applications for Delivering Key Value to Financial Services Industry

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., 03-DEC-2007 05:00 AM
Celent, an independent research and advisory firm focused on the financial services industry, has recognized Oracle as a key provider of profitability applications for the financial services industry in a new report.
Celent’s Evaluation of Customer Profitability Analytics Vendors 2007 report – which uses the firm’s ABCD Vendor View tool – recognizes Oracle Profitability Manager, a component of Oracle Financial Services Applications (OFSA), for its advanced and flexible technology, its breadth of functionality and the depth of its client services.
The Celent ABCD tool presents a comparative view of the vendor marketplace that visually represents four elements: advanced technology and technical flexibility, breadth of functionality, customer base size and depth of client services.
To be eligible for the study, vendors needed to have the ability to calculate profitability at the account level and needed to have 5 or more installations in the United States.
In addition to Oracle, Celent also reviewed other vendors including QRM, SAS, SunGard and Teradata.
