The Corporate Governance, HR and Nomination Committee (“CGHNC”) of UniCredit has met today in order to evaluate – among other things – the situation of Banco di Sicilia and has enacted full support to UniCredit’s management for implementing a positive solution that guarantees a governance of BdS fully in line with the Group’s practice and a positive role of BdS itself in the Sicilian economy, also in the perspective of the next Board of Directors of the Holding Company scheduled for January 22.
