Agfa HealthCare, a leading provider of IT-enabled clinical workflow and diagnostic imaging solutions, announces today it is showcasing its non-invasive vascular (NIV) and nuclear cardiology modalities at the American College of Cardiology (ACC.08) exhibition. The modalities are part of Agfa HealthCare’s IMPAX® Cardiovascular Suite, a comprehensive solution for imaging, reporting and resource management throughout the Cardiology department.
Agfa HealthCare’s IMPAX® Cardiovascular Suite is a robust reporting solution, rendering clinical data into consistent structured information, improving the ability to share data with colleagues and registries. The solution supports improved productivity by providing fast and robust access to a consolidated view of all cross-modality cardiology and radiology images within a single review station. Built to satisfy the most demanding clinical workflow, the Suite delivers innovative features, including advanced image management functionalities, structured reporting and secure access to diagnostic data. The solution provides transparent integration of modalities including echocardiography, cardiac catheterization, non-invasive vascular (NIV), nuclear cardiology, and ECG (electrocardiography) data management, to create fast, robust and secure access to diagnostic images and clinical information. The single point-of-access allows for rapid clinical correlation of multimodality studies.
Agfa HealthCare’s IMPAX Nuclear Cardiology report module, part of the IMPAX Cardiovascular Suite offering, provides a vendor-neutral image management and reporting system for integration of nuclear cardiology with multiple cardiology modalities. The solution fully incorporates the standards established by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation for Nuclear Medicine Laboratories (ICANL).
The IMPAX Non-Invasive Vascular, also available as part Agfa HealthCare’s IMPAX Cardiovascular Suite offering, is a full-featured imaging and reporting solution for vascular laboratories, delivering integrated structured reporting for a wide variety of non-invasive exams. The module fully incorporates the standards established by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL).
