As of 1 April 2008, Dr Wolfgang Peters (54) will be appointed member of the RWE Transgas Board of Directors. In the company he will assume the board position of the resort Purchase Portfolio Management (PPM), which is in charge of the procurement of natural gas as well as of the management and optimization of the import, transport and storage contracts of RWE Transgas.
Dr Peters will simultaneously hold the position of Member of the Extended Board of Directors of RWE Supply & Trading performing the function of Chief Origination Officer Gas. His last position since 1 January 2007 was that of a Managing Director of RWE Gas Midstream, responsible for Origination.
In the management team of RWE Transgas, Dr Peters will replace Dr Frank-Detlef Drake, who will assume new responsibilities within the RWE Group.
As of 1 April 2008, RWE Transgas Board of Directors will consist of the below members:
Martin Herrmann, Chairman of the Board of Directors / CEO
Dirk Simons, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors / CFO
Tomáš Varcop, Member of the Board of Directors / National Sales
Dr Wolfgang Peters, Member of the Board of Directors / PPM
