Dassault Systèmes Appoints Stéphane Massas as Vice President of Human Resources Europe

Suresnes, France, July 3, 2008- Dassault Systèmes (DS) (Nasdaq: DASTY; Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA), a world leader in 3D and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, today announced that Stéphane Massas has joined DS as Vice President of Human Resources Europe.

Stéphane Massas, 49 years old, will report directly to Laurence Dors. Before joining Dassault Systèmes, Stéphane held the position of Human Resources VP for EMEA at Business Objects where he was in charge of Human Resources for all divisions in Europe, including Go to Market, R&D and Corporate. Prior to his responsibilities at Business Objects, Stéphane was Human Resources Director at several high-tech companies including APC, Adeptec, Cabletron Systems Inc and Dell.
