O3SIS, a Gemalto company, makes address book management available for Deutsche Telekom subscribers’ iPhone
Amsterdam – Nov 10, 2009 – Gemalto (Euronext NL0000400653 GTO), the world leader in digital security, today announced the availability of O3SIS’ address book management application on the AppStoreTM. O3SIS, a Gemalto company, is the leading mobile software solution provider. The O3SIS SyncML Client allows iPhone users to protect their address book through simple back-up and synchronization with the Deutsche Telekom address book on the O3SIS’ secured server. Once their data has been stored, subscribers can easily access it through a user-friendly web interface and manage all their contact details in one place. Deutsche Telekom subscribers will be first to enjoy this new service through the operator’s existing web portal and O3SIS’ solution.
For many mobile users, their address book has become one of the most essential features with great emotional value as it includes priceless information about family, friends and professional as well as social networks. Therefore, the loss or theft of their device can be very distressing since a large part of their social life stored on the iPhone disappears with the loss.
With the help of the new application users can save their contacts directly from their iPhone to their Deutsche Telekom address book – either on demand or automatically. Changes made in the address book can be transferred back to the iPhone with one click.
“We are proud to make iPhone contact management available to Deutsche Telekom subscribers through a one-click application,” commented Dirk Dörre, O3SIS CEO. “This innovation enables us to extend our handset market reach and propose valuable services to iPhone users.”
How to get the client on your iPhone: Open the AppStore. Go to the search engine and enter “O3SIS”. Then click on “O3SIS” application and choose “Install”. Your application is now up and running and available from the iPhone Home Screen. Application demo available at http://iphone.o3sis.com
