Paris, March 19, 2010 – Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) today announced the appointment of Régine Coqueran-Gelin as head of Corporate Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), effective immediately. Based at the company’s headquarters in Paris, Régine will report to Stephen A. Carter, the newly appointed Chief Marketing, Strategy and Communications officer upon his arrival on April 19.
Régine brings more than 15 years of experience in communication and finance. In her role, Régine will lead the Corporate Communication and CSR function – overseeing media relations, employee communications, brand, advertising, and Web – to support and accompany the transformation of Alcatel-Lucent. She will continue to build a strong image and employees’ culture driven by a strong focus on innovation and our customers’ needs.
Since 2006, Régine has been managing the corporate media relations for Alcatel-Lucent. Prior to that, Régine held various positions in the corporate press office and in the financial corporate team as financial controller. She joined Alcatel-Lucent in 1997.
Régine Coqueran-Gelin is a graduate of Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Rouen.
