Paris, March 30, 2010 – Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) today announced the appointment of Pascal Homsy as Head of Alcatel-Lucent’s activities in France and director of the France Telecom/Orange Global account, effective May 1st. Based in Vélizy, Pascal Homsy will report to Adolfo Hernandez, president of Alcatel-Lucent’s activities in the EMEA region.
Pascal brings 15 years of experience in the telecoms industry, notably managing the France Telecom/Orange account for Alcatel-Lucent. In his new position, he will assume overall responsibility for managing the day-to-day business activities of Alcatel-Lucent in France, taking the lead on strategic business directions for the Group in the country.

Since January 2008, Pascal Homsy was in charge of the France Telecom/Orange Global account for Alcatel-Lucent. In 2007, Pascale Homsy was managing the sales support activities in the Europe & South region for the Carrier business group. From 2004 to 2007, he was vice president Voice and Services in the Fixed solutions division and also in charge of Fixed networks for the Alcatel CIT French branch. He started his career with Alcatel where he held different positions in marketing, sales for the South-East Asian region within Alcatel’s Switching and Routing Systems activities. He was also vice president for Fixed broadband wireless activities until 2003. Prior to that, Pascal had held various positions in pre-sales and sales at Philips-TRT and Lucent Technologies.
