Through this global agreement DS now delivers comprehensive solutions for Manufacturing Execution and Manufacturing Intelligence along with the ability for companies utilizing the V5 DELMIA – ENOVIA Manufacturing Hub or the DS V6 environment to deliver manufacturing process plans and work instructions to the shop floor via the Intercim Pertinence MES system.
With this reseller agreement DS delivers to the market an integrated end-to-end solution that allows customers to:
• Execute step by step instructions on the shop floor exactly as defined and planned by manufacturing engineers;
• Increase worker comfort and productivity with intuitive interactive 3D work instructions;
• Reconcile as-designed/as-planned/as-built data for seamless collaboration between all extended enterprise functions;
• Integrate real-time production information and relevant as-built information directly to the 3D mock up; and
• Manage non-conformances and unexpected events in real time with corrective and preventive manufacturing intelligence.
Today’s announcement further illustrates Dassault Systèmes and Intercim’s commitment to bringing the real world of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) into the virtual world of PLM The signing of the global reseller agreement is another step in the evolution of this strategic relationship. The partnership started in 2004 when the two companies signed a memorandum of understanding to define a common business and technology roadmap to serve highly regulated industries, including aerospace & defense, shipbuilding, energy and life sciences.
