At Oracle Retail CrossTalk 2010, June 22-24, Oracle will host retail executives and retail industry experts from around the world to share insights, demonstrate innovations and better understand the role of technology in new retail business strategies.
Google Product Director Sameer Samat, Buzzient CEO Tim Jones and Digby CEO Dave Sikora will participate in a panel discussion “Disruptive Technologies: Innovators Redefining Retail,” providing insight into how each of their companies is approaching the new retail landscape.
Best Buy, Lowe’s, Wet Seal, Aldo, Grupo Pao De Acucar, Sunrider International and other retailers from around the world will discuss how they are using technology to redesign the customer experience, enable international expansion, localize merchandise and optimize store and mobile-commerce operations.
Duncan Angove, general manager of Oracle Retail, will present a visionary look at the future of retail as established and emerging brands redesign the customer experience and re-imagine opportunities for growth.
17 Oracle partners are sponsoring Oracle Retail CrossTalk, including Accenture, Deloitte Consulting, HCL/OLR, and Wipro.
Participants will hear how social and mobile commerce impact merchandising, store operations and the supply chain including a preview of a highly anticipated digital receipts program.
In a panel discussion led by Angove, Citigroup, Marakon and Advent International retail financial analysts will talk about new levers for growth in today’s retail environment.
Jeff Jarvis, blogging pioneer and author of “What Would Google Do,” will speak to participants in a keynote address highlighting media trends and their impact on consumer behavior.
Tuesday evening June 22nd Oracle will present the 2010 Oracle Retail Excellence Awards for CIO of the Year, Redesigning the Customer Experience, Re-imagining Growth and Re-invigorating Operational Excellence. Winners will be announced from among 26 nominees.
