The amendments to the By-laws resulting from the legislative decree will be applicable to the Shareholders Meetings whose notice will be published after October 31, 2010.
Rome , 16 June 2010 – Eni’s Board of Directors has modified the text of the By-laws to comply with the new rules on Shareholders’ rights. The Board has completed the amendments of the By-laws initiated by the Shareholders’ Meeting held on 29 April 2010.
Eni is now one of the first Italian companies to have completed the statutory implementation of the Legislative Decree no.27/2010, which put the Shareholders’ Rights Directive into practice in Italy.
